The Santa Barbara Surfing Museum gives home to a century’s worth of local culture and history. But it’s not just about our town. It’s about the shapers and riders whose innovations changed the sport globally … from right here at home.
The Santa Barbara Surfing Museum is a passion project for Roger and Grayson Nance (left and right), the father-son owners of Surf N’ Wear’s Beach House, where the museum is located.
The museum’s legendary display of surfboards and memorabilia is sourced from Roger’s own collection. The result? A curated look at how surfing has evolved since the very beginning, from some of the people who know it best.
